So a couple of nights ago, I'm bundled up with the windows closed and today it was 94 degrees and hubby turns the central AC on.
I'm not a big fan of A/C. It's nice to have, I guess, but if hubby weren't here, I'd rarely turn it on. One weekend when he went 4-wheeling, I enjoyed the entire weekend A/C free. It was glorious.

I'm going tomorrow to visit my folks. Their 60th wedding anniversary is Friday. I remember when we talked about throwing a 50th anniversary party for my folks, my dad said he'd never make it to their 50th. And now they're approaching their 60th.
We've had some sort of party for them every five years since their 45th. Their 45th in 1994 was the last year they lived in the house I grew up in, the one they lived in for 30 years. That was really nice. Then we had their 50th in 1999 in their new place. Then their 55th I threw them a party in the nursing home where Dad was living at the time. That was interesting but I got it done.

When I went to the dentist recently for my annual check-up and cleaning, the dentist asked about my jaw again. He asked if I wake up with headaches in the morning and I realized I do, a couple of times a week. It's because I am clenching my teeth all night long. I really wish I could stop because it's a killer. He says my teeth are still OK because I'm religious about wearing my bite guard, so that's good. I really don't want to crack all my teeth to bits. I could do without the constant ear-ringing and headaches and jaw pain, though. I never connected the headaches with the jaw clenching, but it makes perfect sense now.
